During the past few years, the Pendleton Posse has been attending and sponsoring rodeos throughout Texas.  Most recently, we returned from the Dodge Texas Circuit Finals, where the best cowboys and cowgirls compete for top honors.  Located in Waco, known as the heart of Texas, the Extraco Events Center hosts more than 225 events each year.  Nestled on the side of the coliseum sits a small welcoming cedar shake crafted entrance that gives visitors the impression of a country back porch.

We made our first visit to the arena two years ago and were introduced to the folks of this “Back Porch Club,” a special place that holds handshakes, hugs and countless people who wouldn’t miss an opportunity to support the sport of rodeo – not to mention one of the best views of the arena.

Upon arrival, the Pendleton Posse is consistently and graciously greeted by the lovely Priscilla, the gate keeper of the Back Porch Club.  This rodeo, among many others, is so fortunate to have such dedicated and loyal employees who work hundreds of hours to make this event happen.

A very heartfelt thank you to ALL of the wonderful rodeo staff, committee members and volunteers out there!  To Priscilla and all of our friends in Waco, we are looking forward to seeing you again!
