Hi Pendleton Fans!

Of course everyone is now officially enjoying the hustle and bustle of the holiday season: chopping down trees, deciding where to hang holiday lights and planning what to bake. This is about the time my mom makes her famous Holiday TV Mix and my siblings and I all fight over it. Seriously, she has to make triple batches. It is also the time everyone is making their “what to gift list.”

Boy, do I have some good news for you! Pendleton® Whisky is here to help! They have those perfect holiday gifts that your friends and family would love! Who wouldn’t want to find a deck of Pendleton® Whisky playing cards or a Pendleton® Whisky flask in their stocking on Christmas morning?
Or, if you are cold weather dwellers and you are looking for a really great gift, you have to check out our Pendleton® Whisky fire pit! This has got to be my favorite item. Have you seen these? They are beautiful! Speaking from experience, I happen to know that sitting around a Pendleton® Whisky fire pit with all of my closest neighbors passing a bottle of Pendleton® Whisky and a jar of pickle juice is probably the greatest way you can spend an evening. It’s all about the memories, right?
Check out the greatest gifts at store.pendletonwhisky.com. I know I wouldn’t mind opening up a bottle of Pendleton® Whisky in its own Pendleton Woolen Mills Bottle Bag. (that’s a hint, in case my family is reading!)

Cheers to enjoying your holiday season with your loved ones!

It’s coming up. ‘Tis the season to be busy. There are parties to attend, presents to buy and/or make, meals to cook, traditions to celebrate, family to visit, and a million and one other things to do. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year, but no sooner does the holiday season come upon that it quickly becomes a faint memory and we find ourselves in a New Year.

Over the years, my family’s holidays have changed due to demanding work schedules and expanding families. What once was a week-long family vacation has since been reduced to just a few blissful days. Although the days are minimal, we cherish the time we are able to spend together and embrace our holiday traditions. One tradition that remains strong in my family is to pour a Pendleton neat, sit next to the fire, and watch “National Lampoon’s: Christmas Vacation”. The number of times I have seen this movie is borderline offensive, yet it is a movie that I will never tire of watching. The obscurity of Clark Griswold’s quest for the “perfect” Christmas has always brought good humor, but it is the underlying message of togetherness that makes it a family favorite. Being able to relax with the family, enjoy an aperitif, and laugh over Uncle Eddie’s ridiculous social graces (or lack thereof) make the craziness of the holiday season well worth it.

Happy Holidays to all – may you relish this time of the year with your loved ones and celebrate your favorite holiday tradition with a glass of Pendleton.
Cheers!
