Cook outs. Boat rides. And The red, white and blue. Celebrating the Fourth of July comes in many forms and fun, but at the heart of this annual holiday is patriotism. It’s an opportunity to salute those who are serving and have served; embracing the freedom we have as a result of the hard work and sacrifice made by our U.S. Armed Forces and their families.

It was this American spirit that inspired the creation of our Pendleton® Whisky Limited Edition bottle. Launched in May for its second year, this Limited Edition bottle honors the integrity and patriotism of those who serve, and have served, in the U.S. Armed Forces.

A portion of the Limited Edition bottle proceeds will benefit programming for the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA), an organization that supports veterans such as Noah Currier, a member of the Marine Corps who actually designed the bottle’s one-of-a-kind logo.

After suffering a spinal injury following his services in Iraq, Noah turned to sports and design, and even started his own military apparel company called “Oscar Mike” that helps raise funds for other paralyzed servicemen and women.

It’s people like Noah that remind us how great it is to be an American. So as you finalize plans for this long holiday weekend, remember to tip your hat and dedicate a toast to our nation’s heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedom.

Cheers and happy 4th to you!
