Well, where haven’t these boots been? Many places to tell the truth. Yet as time continues to pass by as fast as ever, I find so too has my world grown. I’ve quenched my thirst in the dusty heat of Waco, Texas, ventured to the PBR headquarters of Pueblo, Colo., and yes, had the amazing sushi at Momo’s restaurant (and coming from one who lived in Seattle, that says a lot!). I’ve had cocktails with chefs, made new friends at the Redding Rodeo, and had a glass of Pendleton Whisky with the band Emerson Drive at the end of a long evening.
The truth is that traveling around to different states, cities and towns – each wearing their unique and proud history of their rodeo on their chest – is such a wonderful and enlightening experience. I never know what friends I might get to make. Whether they are from another country or born and raised in a town no bigger than 50 people, I feel honored to have had the opportunities I’ve had and appreciate the ones I have yet to encounter.
Hello, world. I’m coming to meet you…
