As we approach Veterans Day, we are proud to shine a spotlight on the partnership between Pendleton® Whisky and the Bob Woodruff Foundation. The Bob Woodruff Foundation ensures that our nation’s veterans, service members, and their families—those who stood for us—have stable and successful futures.
Pendleton® Whisky Military Appreciation
The service, bravery, and commitment of our military enable us to live free, so it’s vital to ensure that when their tours of duty are done, they and their families have the support they need to thrive.
Pendleton® Whisky is proud to partner with the Bob Woodruff Foundation because we know their work directly, immediately, and positively impacts veterans, service members, and their families.
Through our partnership with the Bob Woodruff Foundation, the Pendleton® Whisky military program supports direct services for veterans in the areas of education, employment, mental health and wellness, food insecurity and housing.
We are donating $100,000 from the proceeds of bottle sales to the Bob Woodruff Foundation, and with every purchase, you can help.

How to Support the Military

After service members return home, reintegrating their communities and moving on to the next chapter isn’t always easy.
The Bob Woodruff Foundation raises awareness about the tough challenges veterans and military families face and funds solutions to support them in the next chapter of their lives.
The Foundation’s work reflects the concept of “we’ve got your 6” – a nod to the phrase coined by World War I fighter pilots and that means “we’ve got your back.” Through their service, veterans have our backs. When they return home we need to have theirs.

About Bob Woodruff
You may recognize Bob Woodruff’s name. He was a reporter for ABC News. In 2006, Bob was reporting in Iraq when his armored vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb. He sustained a life-threatening traumatic brain injury. Due to the quick action of soldiers, medics, and military medical professionals, Bob’s life was saved. While he lay for 36 days in a medically induced coma at Walter Reed, his wife Lee and brother Dave saw the challenges that military service members face and resolved to draw attention to them and invest in solutions to help support service members, veterans, and their families in the next chapter of their lives.
