Pendleton® Whisky salutes our Armed Forces and the men and women who share the values and commitment to the Western lifestyle we represent: honor, respect, and bravery.
Those principles provide the impetus for Pendleton® Whisky 2024 Military Edition. 2024 marks the fourth year of producing this limited-edition whisky bottle and another successful year of partnership with the Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF). We are proud to partner with an organization dedicated to creating healthy, positive futures for service members, veterans, and their families and to be part of an initiative that accomplishes so much for these heroic people, without whom our way of life would likely be very different.
As in past years, we honor the program by donating $100,000 from the proceeds of bottle sales to the Bob Woodruff Foundation so that we continue to serve the community with lasting and impactful programs and pathways for our military and their families.
Some of the programs Pendleton® Whisky supports include re-education and training for veterans, housing, integrative health and mental health support, rehabilitation, animal-assisted therapy, service dogs, legal support, financial assistance, and support for military families displaced by natural disasters.
Returning military veterans’ needs are often complex, and the Bob Woodruff Foundation does a fantastic job of anticipating and addressing these concerns. Each year, Pendleton® Whisky features a vignette of veterans who give back to their community and how the Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF) has positively impacted their lives.
In 2023, we featured US Army Sgt. Mercedes Kirkland-Doyle. With BWF’s support, she founded the Good News Community Kitchen, a non-profit that provides vulnerable people in her community—veterans, seniors, food-insecure families, and survivors of domestic violence—with food and supplies, some of which she grows in the Kitchen’s garden.

Our courageous military members persist in facing challenges even after their service ends. Upon returning, some soldiers grapple with physical injuries or traumatic stress, finding it difficult to transition to civilian life.
