We’ve all had a margarita or two—but if you’ve never tried one with whisky instead of tequila, you have not lived! The Rodeo Rita is faithful to the original, salted rim optional.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Shake some salt onto a saucer or cocktail rimming tray. Before preparing the cocktail, take a lime wedge and run it around the rim of the glass, then dip it into the salt.
Place ice, 1½ oz of Pendleton® Whisky Original, ½ oz of Triple Sec, 3 oz fresh lime juice, and a splash of margarita mix into your cocktail shaker and shake until icy cold. Pour everything into the prepared glass, and garnish with a lime wedge. Enjoy!
Beer and whisky in one cocktail? Our Pendleton Shandy is fresh, tangy, and satisfying, like a plunge in the river on a hot summer day.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
The ice is optional, but if you’re not using ice, make sure your beer is nice and cold. Add 1½ oz Pendleton® Whisky Original, 1 oz orange juice, and 2 oz lemonade to the glass and fill with beer. Garnish with an orange slice.
Nothing invokes beach vibes like the taste of coconut and pineapple! It’s a summer whisky cocktail everyone will love—and you don’t have to use your blender unless you want to; it’s just as good shaken over ice.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Add ice, 2 oz Pendleton® Whisky Original, 2 oz pineapple juice, and ½ oz coconut cream to a blender or shaker. Blend or shake until cold and pour into a glass. Garnish with a pineapple slice and cherry.
We love Arnold Palmers on a summer day, but the Cowboy Palmer kicks it into high gear with the addition of Pendleton® Whisky 1910 Rye. It’s super easy to make, too—just four ingredients, and you’re good to go. You can’t find a simpler cowboy cocktail even if you tried!
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Fill your glass with ice and add 1½ oz Pendleton® Whisky 1910 Rye, 1 oz lemonade, and 1 oz iced tea. Give it a stir and garnish with a sprig of mint.
It’s our riff on the Moscow Mule, Western style! We love Pendleton® Whisky Original for this summer cocktail, but try it with Pendleton® Whisky Midnight for an extra mule kick. Ginger beer is stronger and spicier than ginger ale, but if you’re working with what you have on hand, we won’t fault you!
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Build this cocktail over ice with 2 oz of your favorite Pendleton® Whisky, 1 oz pomegranate juice, and 3 oz ginger beer. Garnish with a lime wedge and a sprig of mint.
